All opportunity, no debt.

At CCBC, the vast majority of students attend tuition-free. How are they doing it? By seizing the opportunities available to them and taking a few important steps.

We encourage all students to fill out and submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. The FAFSA determines each student's eligibility and opens doors to a variety of funding opportunities, including grants, scholarships, work-study and loans.
Many CCBC initiatives and programs, such as the Honors College and Degrees to Succeed, provide students with additional scholarship opportunities. We also connect students with "last-dollar-in" scholarships like Maryland and Baltimore Promise, which cover remaining tuition and mandatory fees after other federal and state financial aid.
Students who need support get the most out of funding opportunities by meeting with their financial aid advisor at CCBC or attending an in-person event at one of our campuses. CCBC financial aid advisors make students aware of opportunities and provide guidance, while events like Fund Your Future can even help students retroactively claim money to cover past balances.
